Skhidnytsianaftogas is the owner of a special permit for oil and gas exploration in the territory of the Precarpathian oil and gas basin. The area is located within the Drohobych, Stryi and Skoli districts of Lviv region.

This area is considered one of the most promising in Western Ukraine.It includes both structures and fields for drilling, as well as wells on existing fields for restoration.

Karpatska Industrial Group 1926 - holds a license for oil and gas exploration. The license is located near the city of Rozhnyativ, Ivano-Frankivsk administrative region in Western Ukraine.

5 wells were drilled on the license territory, of which:

• Well No. 15 – a well owned by the company and active.
• Well No. 4: Drilled in the 1980s. Production from this well was carried out by the state-owned company Ukrnafta. Production was stopped due to the revocation of the license. Initial production from the well was 9 cubic meters/day of oil.
• Well No. 8: Drilled in the 1980s. Production from this well was carried out by the state-owned company Ukrnafta. Production was stopped due to the revocation of the license. Initial production from the well was 29.1 tons of condensate and 60.5 thousand cubic meters of gas per day.

Wells within the license, at low costs, can bring production.

The field, although depleted, still has potential.

The area is ready for new drilling into undiscovered horizons.

The proximity of the village and the oil and gas pipelines of PJSC "Ukrnafta" will allow for better sales of products.

Northern Boryslav Oil Company is a new joint project of GECOM and NPP “EKONAFTOGAZ”.
